What do you do at UCC? 

BASSYCSJunior Director

Tell us about your job? 

As a teenager I dedicated my life to God’s service in whatever way He could use me and have spent the past 15 years serving Him through various ministries.  I am so excited to be serving God through the BASSYCSJunior Director position!   I will be responsible for recruiting lots of college students and adults to help run the Wednesday night program as well as setting up the curriculum and keeping things organized and running smoothly. 

A little bit about your background? 

Over the years,  my husband and I spent a year as short term missionaries in the Czech Republic., we were able to start and run a married couples ministry at our previous church in Virginia that grew from 3 couples to over 50 in a few years.  Since moving to Upland, I have served on the steering committee for the MOPS Ministry here at UCC.  .   I have a degree in Christian Education from Indiana Wesleyan University as well as a degree in Psychology and a minor in missions.  I am excited to finally be in a job/ ministry that will use some of that education I am still paying for!

Family? 

Husband Pete and 3 children.  Being a part of the  BASSYCSJunior team will be a whole family affair. 

What are some of your personal favorites? 

We love to do things together as a family including playing sports, riding bikes, and playing games.   In my free time, I love to read Christian fiction books, watch chic flicks,  as well as digital scrapbook.   I also run my own Interior Design business so I enjoy watching and learning all I can about design.
