The ministries of UCC are all directed to one purpose: to glorify God

What does that mean, you say? We are a group of imperfect people who have acknowledged the fact that we are sinners and that the only way we can be reconciled with God and live forever with Him is to accept the gift he has given us—the death on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ, his Son, who substituted himself for us who have earned death. He offers everyone the opportunity to accept his love and forgiveness and to live in peace with him. He also gives his Holy Spirit to live in us to guide, teach and comfort us and to mark us as his. (See the Statement of Faith for more about what we believe.)

So what happens next? The truth of God's love for us is simple and in response to that great love, we are learning together to love and follow him. However, there are many things about God and his ways that we need to learn and understand and there are some things we will never completely understand in this life. The Bible tells us to remind ourselves of what God has done and is doing and to teach our children. So we gather together to learn and grow in our knowledge and understanding of God.

Every Sunday morning we gather to worship God by singing and playing music, praying, giving, listening to his Word read, learning from his Word as we talk about it, and encouraging each other.

There are many other times that we gather together to learn how to be better followers of Jesus and how to help the people in our lives do the same. Some of these are described in the menu on the left and some are listed on the calendar. You are invited to participate in any and all of them.
