NURSERY – for children birth through 2 years old
Our Nursery is located in the hallway off the foyer near the mailboxes just past the mural of beautiful flowers.
Nursery care is offered on Sunday mornings during the Worship Services and the Sunday School hour. For our Sunday School time, our favorite nursery songs teach our little ones that God loves us and cares for us, God listens when we pray and Jesus loves them. They also learn that the Bible is God’s book and if we read our Bible and pray every day we will grow, grow, grow. Then we have a short lesson from The Gospel Project and sometimes we even do a craft.
We are very blessed by a wonderful team of adult and youth volunteers who serve our families so parents can worship and hear God’s Word knowing their child is safe and loved. Every person who volunteers with children or youth at UCC completes our Safe Place Training Requirements.
For most church-wide events, such as holiday gatherings and special services, the nursery can be used by parents who want to stay in the nursery with their little ones and then watch the program in the sanctuary on the monitor in the nursery.
If media support is needed, see a media tech in the sound booth at the back of the sanctuary or find a pastor for assistance.
