I work part time in the UCC Church Office, providing additional support to the Office Coordinator and Ministry Staff when needed, and publish the weekly bulletin and news.

The staff at UCC are special and a joy to work with. My job provides the opportunity to get to know more of our church family!

I grew up in the far NW “Region” of Indiana in the town of Highland, near Chicago. I met my husband Kerry while attending Purdue University and we were married in 1980. He grew up on the far NE side of Indiana outside the small town of Woodburn. There we began our life together in a mobile home on three acres of my in-law’s farm. We raised our two daughters, built a home, and owned three businesses over those first 17 years. Our daughters’ college years began our connection with Upland when both attended Taylor University, graduating in 2005 and 2008. In the spring of 2013, my husband accepted a job as the Grounds Supervisor for Taylor University, and we’ve been living in Upland and attending UCC since January of 2014. 

I love to gather and vacation with family, being a grandma to three wonderful grandchildren, hiking, gardening, antiquing, attending local art shows. I also enjoy women’s Bible study & the morning walking group, dabbling in art projects, and decorating.
