What do you do?
I manage our church office and coordinate/maintain records for our Safe Place training program for volunteers. I serve on the music ministry singing or playing guitar/cello. I’m also an online graduate student in Biola University’s Master’s of Business Administration program.
What do you love about your job?
I love getting to see and know the many lovely faces at UCC!
Background:
My husband Caleb and I go way back. We grew up in Southeastern Ohio and became high school sweethearts. We got married in July 2021 after I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Secondary English Education. We then moved to Upland so Caleb could finish his last year at Taylor. During that year I worked as a high school English teacher. Now, I am enjoying a slower pace of life with Caleb and serving at UCC!
Favorite things?
Books – Dune by Frank Herbert, 1984 by George Orwell, the Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, Kristin Hannah books.
Food – Bread, pasta, salads, soup!
Hobbies – READING, exercising (esp. outdoors), playing games or music with Caleb
