What Does God Know? (Psalm 131)

Sermon Questions for further discussion –

  1. God’s knowledge is perfect, yet we pray at times as though He is uninformed or lacks understanding of our lives. What does this reveal to us?
  2. God drew you to himself knowing every detail of your past and future. Why then are we slow to openly confess before God our fears, doubts, rebellious thoughts?
  3. When has knowledge of the future been a burden to you? When has it led to anxiety?
  4. Are you a “meddler?” Why does scripture warn us against meddling?
  5. God has revealed his “will of decree” and his “will of desire” for us to know. Why might he generally decline to reveal to us a “will of direction”?
